Mr. Paul Karuga is the founder director of BainRidge Company. He is an accomplished businessman with diverse knowledge in tax, economics and environmental management.

Mr. Paul is very dedicated in matters climate change and has a great focus and passion in restoration of water bodies as well as community service in that capacity.

He has an enriched education background where he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi, has in the past gone through the graduate trainee program in customs and administration at the Kenya School of Revenue and Administration (KESRA) and is a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Mr. Paul is a very experienced individual in customs & income tax law, criminal law, law of evidence, court procedures, prosecution skills and investigative procedures. Having served Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) for 15 years in investigation & enforcement, Domestic taxes and Custom Services Department.

Among other skills, he has trained in intelligence gathering, risk profiling & analysis data mining, effective complains handling, informer management and tax examination methodologies in Kenya and abroad.
